What this business does
Mauzy’s website lists heating, air conditioning, plumbing, electrical and drain services, with a dedicated page for Chula Vista homeowners. Its published service area includes older properties and newer communities in the South Bay. The company describes repair, maintenance and system installation rather than a cooling-only service. Because the brand has several regional locations, homeowners should identify which office will dispatch the technician and which legal business appears on the proposal. The Chula Vista page is useful for confirming the area is covered; it does not establish availability for a particular appointment.
Where it may fit
A combined-trade provider can be worth considering when an HVAC project also needs electrical or drain work; ask for each part to be priced and assigned clearly.
Google reviews in context
The linked Google record showed 4.8 out of 5 from 1,397 reviews on October 28, 2026. Google snapshot is for the Escondido location on Executive Place, not the larger El Cajon review total. Counts across branches are not combined. Review counts are not completed-job or transaction totals. Read the Google source.
BBB and business checks
The matching BBB record lists A+ as its letter grade. It lists the business as not BBB accredited. The matching BBB record is for the Escondido address and was opened in October 2026. Its business-history fields should not be treated as an independently verified history of every Mauzy location. Read the BBB source.
